It is not everyday that you convert a self-confessed MCR-hater to one of their many fans, but a few months ago I did it. It only took listening to nothing but MCR and forcing said convert-ee to listen too, insisting whenever it was possible that Gerard was absolutely B-E-A-utiful, as was Frank and dear little Mikey. She listened to reason in fact, only after seeing them support Muse. I wasn't there, but she saw them strutting their stuff and finally, all I had said registered and she could understand my utter love for My Chemical Romance.
Now she loves them almost as much as I myself do, and accompanied me with much excitement to their concert on the 15th at the O2 in London. A worthy performance, and I got a wink from Gerard! Ha! Incredible and the cause of a temporary state of euphoria, soon dimmed slightly by the kick in the ribs from some oaf in the mosh pit. But what can I say, eh? Anyways, back to my original point.
So, the other day, looking for updates and info, as ever we are, regarding My Chemical Romance, my dear friend stumbled across some Frerard slash, and read it and liked it. She has never shown any liking for such things before and I am hoping to slowly wean her on to MCR slash, then inter-band slash, then perhaps I can see how she takes to some Harry Potter slash, which I did metion in passing to her, and she did not comment. She was a little freaked/squicked by the smut area of the fics she ended up reading, but I am confident that I will at some point manage to have her liking that as much as the actual plot bits, as, if all fan-girls and fan-boys are honest, the smut is one of the best bits at times.
So, my point in this long spiel? Well, just saying that I have successfully converted an MCR-hater and non slash reader to a possibly lifelong fan of MCR and a potentially serious slash reader.
Ladies and gentlemen, my work here is (almost*) done.
(*almost, cause I gotta get her to like HP slash and smut too :-) )

I am bored out of my effing mind, but who would really care about such things, eh? No-one, thus why I'm writing on LJ right now. A desperately and miserably sad existance I lead and no mistake. The fact that I am acutely aware of this is even worse I'm sure, but who gives a monkeys.
But the excitement! Oh yeah! NaNoWriMo!!! I am perhaps overly excited about this and should take a deep breath and calm down, but I've never done it before, only heard of it, and I wanna give it my best bloody shot. I think I can do it. There may be much cursing, crying, groaning, growling, yelling, many cups of tea and coffee and much depression, but even so, I reckon it is not an impossible feat! So, yeah, I just wanna get started already and do it! I have this fabulous idea and it's probably very childish, but I reckon I could drag 50,000 words out of it, don't you? I suppose you, being a non existent audience, cannot answer for two reasons. One: you don't actually know my fabulous idea, and secondly, well; did the words non-existent not register quite?
What can I say. A monday morning and I have nothing better to do than post messages to a non existent audience on an LJ I don't quite understand how to use. Well, that's a lie, not the bit about me not knowing how to use it - that's true, the bit about nothing to do. I actually have a pile of Geography coursework that I am avoiding in every manner I can, though I know full well I should just bloody get on with it.
What can I say. I don't like Geography and I don't like coursework.

I'm not entierly sure how this whole LJ thing works, ;o), but I guess I'll figure it out somehow, lol. So, yeah, that's all I wanted to say for the moment.
apathetic
bouncy
Yes, bored and tired too...
